Inlovia draws inspiration from artisans, artists and other non-professionals around the globe, and our professional designer translating their diverse cultural expressions into beautiful jewelry. We believe that it is the values, traditions, and beliefs shape societies, influencing either true harmony or fierce conflict—depending on our willingness to listen. We aspire to facilitate cultural exchange and foster mutual understanding, enriching the tapestry of our global community.
How We Started
On my journey in 2017, I met Avery from California and Niamh from Edinburgh while volunteering at the Mother Teresa Center in Kolkata. At that time, we bonded over our shared passion for travel, curiosity about cross-cultural communication, and diverse life experiences, which drew us close. After leaving the center, we traveled together to seven countries in South Asia, nine countries in South America in 2019, and eight countries in Africa in 2022. We cherish these special experiences: meditating in the forests of Myanmar, lying on the grass of Pantanal, watching the Milky Way and fireflies flicker together, and caring for rhinos poisoned by poachers at Rhino Fund Uganda. During these journeys, we met many inspiring individuals, including Takumi, Valentina, Chloé, Astrid, and Kaan.—Li
We started this because we met Zainab from Maiduguri, Nigeria, who lost her families in tribal conflicts. She showed us a notebook filled with jewelry she had "designed". Although her design was somewhat immature, it deeply touched us because each piece had its own story, centered around themes of peace and love. We are deeply touched and Li said he hopes to find a workshop to produce these jewelry pieces, believing that selling them could spread Zainab's idea of peace and love, and also improve her life. That’s how our work began. Today, we continue to gather inspiration from diverse cultures, working with professional jewelry designers to turn these visions into tangible art.—Avery

I love what we do. Jewelry is inherently beautiful, and now it conveys the shared values we've found in our travels. We are committed to equality and embrace diversity, championing a world where love transcends races and borders, and encouaging cross-cultural communication so that every voice is heard and every person is valued.—Niamh
